Rahm Emanuel Finger:
The current mayor of Chicago once told in an interview that he lost his middle finger when he was an employee at Arby’s in his teenage. He was cleaning a roast beef slicer, and his middle finger sliced off. Consequently, he lost his finger and suffered from two blood infections and two bone infections; he remained hospitalized for two weeks. At that time, it was difficult for him to live without a finger. But later, he learned how to admit the hideous truth and overcome his deficiency. Now, he is self-sufficient and self-reliant; to some extent he is self-actualized. But when he saw his hand without a finger, lots of memories about his childhood emerged in his mind. He told he was also responsible for losing his finger. When his finger was cut on a meat slicer, he preferred to attend the prom night rather than seeking medical attention. This childhood act led him to suffer from bone and blood infections and 105 Fahrenheit fever. His finger got infected badly. To avoid spreading the infection, the doctors cut his middle finger.
